Why do men fear more heart attacks?

In the recent findings, it was found that men are more vulnerable to cardiac arrests than women. A majority of the present generation men are on the way to getting diagnosed with heart disorders.

This is an alarming situation as any slight damage to the heart can lead to life-threatening consequences. The heart is one such organ that never stops working, from our birth till death it continues to beat. Such a hardworking organ needs special care for which we need to follow some rules to keep our heart healthy.

But it is quite shocking that why one gender has a greater number of cases than the other. It surely indicates that men are doing something wrong at the basic level which needs to be corrected as soon as possible.

What are the reasons which lead to heart problems?

Heart problem always does not mean attack, it is the most extreme case. Usual heart complications may be such as pulmonary arterial hypertension, coronary heart disease, etc.

Keeping the heart functional and healthy at the same time is not an easy task. Our normal routine makes it even harder because it is no less than a convoluted mess that itself needs proper treatment.

Most of the reasons that make our heart suffer are our daily life habits which gradually take a hazardous shape.

Regular intake of fast food

One of the most relevant reasons in today’s times that is the root cause of multiple diseases is, unthinking eating habits. People no longer have much time so they need everything in fast forward mode.

For going to the office, there is no need to wait for a taxi just book a cab and it will pick you and drop you at the desired location. In the same manner, during eating time, we prefer fast-foods such as burgers, pizza, pasta, noodles, ramen as these are easily available and can be made in no time.

But the damage which these food items do leaves marks till the end of the lifetime. Fast foods contain large quantities of calorie and sugar content which is way above the normal levels. Such food items are a rich source of bad cholesterol that gets stuck on the opening of the main arteries. See, cholesterol is of two types, good and bad, good one is necessary for the body in small amounts.

It is the bad one that is more harmful to the heart. When the heart pumps blood which is to be distributed to all parts of the body, the bad cholesterol present at the opening of the arteries block the path of blood.

Thus, allowing less blood to flow through it. This deprives the organs of oxygen which ultimately decreases their working efficiency. Such people are seen to be suffering from shortness of breath and other respiratory problems.

To overcome this deficiency of the blood the heart has to pump blood with more force making the rate of the blood flowing in the arteries increase. This situation is called pulmonary arterial hypertension.

Just imagine how a simple food habit can lead to such dangerous ends. So, before you take a meal make sure you know what your body needs?

Degrading mental health

Now you must be wondering how come mental health is now related to the heart? See, everything does not relate directly even ratio is sometimes indirectly proportional.

Many a time we neglect our mental health which costs us really expensive. If you ask a group of men what does health means to them? The majority of them would answer that one who goes to the gym symbolizes being a healthy man.

For them, six-pack abs are a sign of great health. But is it really so? To imitate a bodybuilder or a film actor they would spend hours lifting weights but if asked what are they doing for enhancement of mental health, most of them would murmur within themselves “is there something called mental health”.

If you are not psychologically fit no matter how well built your body be you cannot perform a specific task with full potential.

When mental balance takes a back seat in a person several factors see a change. The person starts daydreaming, begins hallucinating about a certain person or event, suffers from anxiety, and ultimately falls into the trap of depression.

During anxiety, the person feels that something extreme will happen, something very good or very bad but in reality, nothing happens. Our mind thinks that some rare would occur but our body reciprocates the same feeling of emergency but when the attack is over the patient finds that there was nothing for which the body gets into an emergency condition.

During an emergency matter, the emergency hormone called adrenaline is released which makes our body ready to fight or flight. To tackle extreme situations extra energy is provided to the body by pumping more blood from the heart.

This is the reason that in emergency circumstances our heartbeat goes higher. The burden of making the body tackle the emergency lands upon the heart.

A person with the problem of anxiety faces many such instances in a day. So, imagine the person getting high blood pressure several times a day. The heart has to suddenly pump more blood three to four times a day. The continuation of such instances over the years makes the walls of the heart soft and fragile.

What could be the precautions?

Precaution is better than cure, a proverb that is relevant now and will be relevant always. Making your heart smile is simple and easy but it needs pure dedication towards your health.

You need to monitor several aspects such as the food you take, the work you do, the addictions you have. First of all, get rid of all the addictions such as smoking, alcohol, use of recreational drugs, etc.

These addictions are alone responsible for most of the heart failures across the world. Perform regular yoga for 30 minutes a day and give your body adequate sleep of 6 to 7 hours a day.

Or else be the slaves of pills like Cenforce, Vidalista, and Fildena
